Total Motion is proud to have been named as the official vehicle lease partner for the British men’s UCI Continental cycling team, ONE PRO Cycling.
As a business with a strong cycling culture, we’re thrilled to be associated with such a successful, ambitious cycling team – and this partnership also furthers our own efforts to encourage more people on to their bikes.
The sponsorship deal is worth around £150,000 to ONE PRO over the next two years.
ONE PRO Cycling – which was co-founded in late 2014 by former England cricketer Matt Prior – became the first British team to progress to Professional Continental level in 2016.
With a strong international 10-rider roster, it is currently competing at UCI Continental level races across the UK and Europe, entering events such as the Tour de Yorkshire and Coppi e Bartali in Italy.
And the team is aiming to progress to some of the world’s biggest cycling races including the Tour de France and the Vuelta e Espana.
Simon Hill, managing director of Total Motion, said: “We are proud to be associated with ONE PRO Cycling. It is always very exciting for us to see the team’s success supported by Total Motion, and we applaud ONE PRO’s drug-free policy. It is very important to us that riding is kept clean.
“Our own business has a strong cycling culture, with members of our team raising more than £10,000 in the last 12 months through taking part in charity bike rides.
“We are also a cycling-friendly employer and encourage our staff to bike to work by providing them with showers, lockers, a bike storage room and a cycle to work scheme.
“This partnership reinforces the health benefits of cycling and the positive impact it has on people’s well-being. “
As part of the deal ONE PRO will have access to the Total Motion Affinity Scheme. Aimed at select corporate organisations, the scheme has been designed to make vehicle leasing easy and affordable for all employees.
Matt Prior, CEO of ONE PRO Cycling added: “We are really pleased to welcome Total Motion to our group of partners. Simon and his team at Total Motion really see the value that cycling can offer a company and we are really looking forward to encouraging more people to get out on their bikes”.
ONE PRO Cycling’s 2018 team comprises British riders Tom Baylis, Jake Kelly, Jacob Scott, Pete Williams and Chris Latham, Emils Liepins of Latvia, Szymon Trackz and Karol Domagalski of Poland and New Zealand riders Hayden McCormick and James Oram.
The team’s sponsors include Aston Martin, US global law firm White & Case, Aberdeen Standard Investments and Louis Roederer Champagne.
