As a passionate supporter of the armed forces, Total Motion was pleased and proud to exhibit at a national employment and careers fair aimed at helping ex-service personnel make the transistition to civilian life.
The British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) event was held at Aldershot Garrison on January 25 and attracted hundreds of visitors.
It is the first time Total Motion has exhibited at recruitment fair and we were overwhelmed by the great response.
Our employees, Helena and Karen, spoke to hundreds of people during the day, with many former members of the armed forces interested in employment opportunities with us.
There was also a lot of interest in the assistance we give on the vehicle leasing side and in the support we offer apprentices.
Helena Terry, Total Motion HR manager, said the fair was a huge success and had exceeded expectations.
She added: “It was such a privilege to be able to provide opportunities for former members of our armed forces.
“We want to continue our support wherever possible, we had lots of fun and will definitely be looking at attending similar events in the future.”
Total Motion signed the Armed Forces Covenant last summer – a move which officially confirmed our pledge to support service personnel, whether they are our employees or our clients.
